Rules & Regulations for IVS Students:

1. Full fee has to be paid for all short term courses at the time of admission only.
2. 75% of attendance in theory as well as practical classes is compulsory for appearing in End Module/ Final Examination.
3. Absent without permission from the class, test or examination or any other curricular activity which he/she is expected to participate in.
4. The fees once paid is not refundable.

Acts of Indiscipline:

Following should amount to act of indiscipline or misconduct on the part of an IVS student:

1. Physically assault or threat to use physical force against any member of the teaching and non-teaching staff of IVS.
2. Carrying of, use of or threat of any weapon.
3. Misbehavior or cruelty towards any fellow student, teacher or any of the staff members.
4. Use of drugs or other intoxicant except those prescribed by a qualified doctor.
5. Any violation of the provisions of the civil rights protection act 1976.
6. Discrimination against any student or staff member on grounds of caste, creed, language, place of origin or the social or cultural background or any of them.
7. Any act whether verbal or otherwise derogatory to fellow students.
8. Smoking, use of narcotics, possessions or consumption of alcoholic beverages or gambling in any form.
9. Any attempt at bribing or corruption of any manner.
10. Causing harm willfully to property or equipment of IVS.
11. Causing disruption of any manner to the academic functioning of the institute.
12. Ragging in any form.
13. Cheating or using any unfair means during the examinations or test.
14. Verbal abuse, mental or physical torture, aggression, harassment, indecent gestures and obscene and derogatory behavior of students.
